Hello, my name is Shruti Dalvi. I am masters student in Human-Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech. I received my bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering, and during my internship in my final semester of undergrad I was introduced to the concept of user experience, specifically UI design. Hoping to transition into design, I equipped myself with knowledge of design and prototyping tools. I worked for 2+ years as a UI designer before I decided to come back to school and expand my knowledge in the field of user experience. Here, I am learning the art of creating better experiences through research and design.
Focusing on the journey that a user takes while interacting with a product, I consider my work as a form of storytelling. I am particularly interested in work within the ICTD field and working on projects of social and public good. You will find indications of this in the projects in this portfolio.
On personal time, I love travelling to places, new and familiar . My favorite method of procrastination is doodling with the numerous felt tip pens that I buy on my frequent trips to art supply stores.
